Tasting from 31.12.2018: Peter Moser

Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Candied orange zest, subtle hints of figs, underpinned with nougat, black berries and fine wood spice. Vivid tannins on the complex palate, very substantial and sweet, texture like a drinking chocolate, honey on the finish, still shows some baby fat, pickled cherries, round and seamless, a bit alcoholic on the finish, more monstrous than rich in finesse, seems a bit over-extracted, dries out on the finish, still needs time to mature optimally.
