Tasting from 12.03.2020: Peter Moser

A combination of grapes from two of the best sites in Napa Valley. From Beckstoffer's To Kalon and Caldwell Vineyard Block-15 on the volcanic soils of the Coombsville District. Deep, opaque young colour with purple highlights, brightening at the rim. An impressive bouquet of blackberries with floral nuances of dried rose petals, cassis and essential oils, and subtle savoury wood in the background. Complex, fruity and equipped with great depth, it has ripe tannins, dark fruit on the finish, and very good length. Already seductive, which will increase with bottle age.
