The red wine Il Riccio Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Fattoria di Rignana has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with brightening edges, appears very elegant. On the nose ripe fig and plum, violets, bay leaf, some cocoa butter and citrus in the background. Pleasant palate notion, tight tannin, wrapped in fine texture, balanced, great fruit component on the finish, with salty and juicy aftertaste, still young.
