The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Ripa della Volta has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella , Oseleta from the region Grezzana in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red colour. Initially bread-like tones on the nose, milk chocolate, dark berry fruit, old wood. Similarly on the palate, with sharp acidity and grippy, brittle tannins, unfortunately dries out considerably on the finish.
