The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, vintage 2016 from the winery Rocche Costamagna has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, luminous ruby. On the nose there are notes of wet stone, with hints of tar, cranberry, plus nuances of sealing wax. The palate is grippy, with vivid tannin, shows subtle drive, then unfortunately becomes a bit bitter and harsh on the finish.
