Tasting from 06.09.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, bright, rich ruby red. Medium expression on the nose, cherry fruit, butterscotch, echoes of fine oak and strawberry confit. Characterised by grippy tannins on the palate, earthy, loosely knit, finishes on iron tones and tightens up on the finish. Needs ageing.
