The red wine Praittenbrunn, vintage 2022 from the winery Scheiblhofer The Wine has been rated in 2026 by Peter Moser with 94 - 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Opaque ruby-garnet color, deep core, violet highlights, barely any lightening at the rim. Subtle tobacco notes, intense black forest berry jam, ripe plums, blackberries, subtle aromas of fine wood, underpinned by candied orange zest. Very powerful, opulent, with a delicate hint of nougat, prominent, supportive tannins, a chocolatey finish, spicy and long-lasting; will benefit from further bottle aging.
