The red wine Himmelreich Spätburgunder Garten Reserve, vintage 2016 from the winery Schumacher has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Cranberry, red currant, raspberry, floral aromas of violet and hyacinth, and oak notes of coconut and leather. On the palate velvety and silky, supple tannins and vivid fruit, nicely gripping ripe acidity, and with juiciness and delicacy, and a very long fine fruity finish. It is already a pleasure to drink.
