An expansive nose with ethereal spice and ripe fruit aromas. Dried figs, currants and menthol. Balsamic. Amazingly slender, wiry palate with tart cherry fruit typical of the variety. Plucky length with a conciliatory sweet tannin fullness that returns as bitter chocolate.
