The white wine Meersburger Jungfernstieg Spätburgunder Blanc de Noirs trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Staatsweingut Meersburg has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Cream-coloured with pink shimmer in the reflections. Grapey, berry, very typical of Pinot Noir and clear on the nose. On the palate, it is full of flavour and core and incredibly powerful. A blanc de noir with unbridled power, but surprisingly well balanced. Very high-quality grapes! but with its alcohol content (14.5) more of a food companion than a drinkable terrace wine.
