The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Stomennano has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. The nose has notes of dried rose petals, rich raspberries and dried tomatoes on the aftertaste. Balanced and round on the palate, supple tannins with fine texture, builds nicely, finishes long and clear.
