Smoky, spicy aroma from ageing in small wooden barrels. It is skillful and testifies to expert craftsmanship. The wine is concentrated and juicy in structure. We are certainly not discovering a Chardonnay in a new guise, but a wine that is powerful and sweet and spicy.
