The red wine Talaras Xinomavro Single Vineyard, Naoussa PDO, vintage 2017 from the winery Talaras Estate has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points.
Intense garnet, ochre reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. A mineral-spicy bouquet, with fresh green kalamata olives, blackberries, hints of liquorice and herbs. Powerful on the palate, with notes of ripe, wild berries, supporting tannins and a salty, persistent finish. Will benefit from further bottle ageing.
