The red wine Taras Salento IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Tenuta Albano Carrisi has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Some wood, leather, sandalwood and a still closed dark berry fruit. Powerful on the palate, substance and alcohol in balance, mild acidity. Not a Primitivo that wins you over with its sweetness and pure fruit - more structured and therefore capable of development.
