The white wine Aria di Casa Montefalco Bianco DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta Alzatura has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points.
Powerful, pale golden yellow. Opens on the nose with notes of roasted hazelnut and pickled pineapple, buttery notes in the background. Shows ripe tropical fruit at the beginning, but then also very pronounced acidity, strongly characterised by the high use of wood on the finish.
