Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Briefly reductive on the nose, then opens up to rich wild berries and fine savouriness, with a slight hint of sage and dried ginger. Beautiful juiciness and compact fruit on the palate, hearty, comes in several layers, classic.
