Tasting Notes
Powerful, flint ruby with a light garnet rim. Very inviting nose with ripe dark cherry, some blackberry, plus some graphite and iodine, exciting. Grippy, savoury tannin on the palate, showing good density, dark berry fruit, persistent with light earthy notes on the finish.
More about the tastingBright ruby with a slight garnet edge. Opens with pronounced ripe fruit notes on the nose, dried plums, lots of blackberry, some cassis. On the palate, finely woven tannins, multi-layered, with a nicely enveloped sweet texture, long and smooth.
