The red wine Chianti DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta di Vico d'Arbia e Larniano has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens on the nose with notes of cooked vegetables, celery root, subtle cherry notes in the background. On the palate a lot of drying wood tannin, in the finish distinct notes of caramel.
