The red wine Favà Nizza DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Tenuta Garetto has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a transparent core. On the nose, ripe plum, dried violets and salty popcorn, comes heavily out of the glass. On the palate, ripe wild berries, juicy, with crisp acidity and green tannins; drying on the finish.
