The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Tenuta Le Potazzine has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Sparkling ruby garnet. Initially a little cloudy on the nose, then opens up with notes of anchovies, pickled cherries and raspberries. Fine, taut tannins on the palate, salty, shows beautiful play, lots of cherry in the finish.
