The red wine Alberico Rosso Lazio Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Principe Alberico has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Benajmin Herzog, Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points.
Intense bright ruby with a purple shimmer. Very appealing aromas, with the classic notes of a Bordeaux Cuveé, cassis and blackberry, a subtle herbal savouriness, very compact. Complex on the palate, opens up with fine tannins, quite remarkable considering the hot and dry vintage, elegant and polished, notes of cedar wood and graphite on the finish.
