The red wine Taurasi DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Scuotto has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Clear, dense ruby with slightly lightening rim. Opens with salty notes, some rust and red beet, a touch of liquorice. On the palate juicy berryish fruit in the approach, shows a little loosely knit as it goes on, hearty tannin.
