Rich, deep dark ruby-purple. Very intense nose with notes of preserved cherries, some prune, savoury sandalwood, and a hint of vanilla. Creamy and round onset, revealing luscious dark fruit, opulent tannins, but unfortunately, there is a noticeable wood accent lingering on the finish. Seemingly drying.
