The white wine Pecorino Abruzzo DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenute Barone di Valforte has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Abruzzo in Italy.
This has a bright pale straw yellow colour. On the nose there are aromas of meadow herbs, a hint of mint, ripe golden delicious apple, and a delicate minerality on the finish. It has an elegant fruity sweetness on the palate, and has great tension, but it is not banal, and has good length, with a recurring saltiness on the finish.
