Rich dark ruby with a slight garnet hue. Dense and powerful on the nose, opens with notes of pickled blackberries and raspberries, some brown nuts, dark chocolate in the background. Opens on the palate with baroque fullness, lots of dark berries, compact and dense, dense, finely meshed tannins, lots of sweet fruitiness, lingers long.
