Iridescent rich garnet colour. Finely characterised nose, lots of pronounced fruit, plenty of ripe raspberry, with a slight hint of cardamom in the background. Supple and round on the palate, lots of fruit here too, hints of cherry compote, then it opens up with fine-grained tannins, builds up in many layers, and there is a firm drive on the finish.
