Rich, deep dark ruby. Very clear and memorable nose, lots of mulberry and cassis, plus subtle notes of sandalwood and beet. On the palate it is full-bodied and gripping, with lots of dark fruit, opens with grippy, hearty tannins, in between a fine texture and rich drive on the finish.
