The red wine Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenute Lunelli has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sagrantino from the region Umbria in Italy.
Bright ruby with light violet shimmer. Smells of dark bread crust and chocolate, of ripe mulberries. On the approach great fullness, opens with beautiful berry fruit, but then follows a lot of grippy tannin, dries unfortunately strongly in the back.
