Rich impenetrable ruby colour with a black core. Lots of vivid rich fruit, plenty of plum, fig, dark cherry, a little rosemary, with plenty of tobacco recognisable in the background. Juicy and plump on the palate, with plenty of blackberry and blueberry, opens up at the back with grippy vigorous tannins, complex and profound, with both rich fruit and great freshness.
