Tasting from 14.02.2019: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Intense, rich ruby red with a brilliant core. Spicy nose with a precise clove aroma, some star anise, then rich dark blackberries and fruits of the forest. On the palate, there are densely woven tannins with a fine acidity, emphatically clove-like on the mid-palate, builds well, fine texture, finishes again clove-like and somewhat bitter on the finish.
