The red wine Freccia degli Scacchi Umbria Rosso DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Terre Margaritelli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points.
Radiant ruby with a fine violet shimmer. An aroma of wood, vanilla, and sandalwood, as well as soft savoury notes, but the fruit stays concealed. Strongly marked by wood on the palate, abundant vanilla tones, then a lot of coarse, drying tannins on the finish.
