The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Terre Nere Montalcino has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby red, purple reflections. On the nose, lots of herbal savouriness, with notes of mint and sage, followed by hints of cherry and raspberry. Precise on the palate, with austere minerality, a noble tannin structure, dancing acidity, and a lot of emphasis on the persistent, salty finish. Will age further.
