Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fresh dark berry fruit, cherry notes, fine herbal savouriness, a hint of liquorice in the background with some vanilla and tobacco. Firm body, pleasant sweetness, more dark berry fruit, vivid, ripe tannins, chocolaty touch on the finish. Full-bodied with great length and enormous ageing potential, but still needs its time in the bottle.
