Brilliant dark ruby colour. Nuances of cherry cordial, cocoa powder, plums and a fine hint of dried figs on the nose. Polished on the palate, with compact tannins, it is powerful, shows a lot of substance and appears very rich, dark and savoury fruit, then unfortunately becomes a little dry on the finish.
