The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Spuntali DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Val di Suga has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Presents cool notes on the nose, fresh cherries, some leather and in the background rich clove and cardamom. Salty and complex on the palate, shows very tight, dense tannin, builds long with a firm drive in the final, long finish and fine sweet texture.
