The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Madonna del Piano DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Valdicava has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby. Appealing and intense nose with notes of blackberry and dark cherry, some liquorice. On the palate it is beautifully worked out, juicy fruit, cherry and plum, gripping, hearty tannin and firm drive in the finish.
