Dark crimson garnet, purple reflections, subtle ochre lightening on the rim. Fine oak, nougat and vanilla, black cherries, ripe plums, tobacco nuances, a multi-faceted bouquet. Taut, tightly meshed, ripe cherries, vivid, savoury tannins, chocolatey finish, great length, already accessible, strong ageing potential, ability to age for decades, to pair with heavy dishes.
