The red wine Varramista Rosso IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Varramista has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red. Shy nose with slightly spicy components, some rum pot, slightly earthy. Very gripping on the palate, but immediately harsh and drying, slowing down in the finish, a pity. Had potential in the body.
