The white wine Glesie Climat Chardonnay Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Vie di Romans has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Golden yellow, clear and bright. The nose is intense and shows a wide range of warm aromas. Lots of notes of ripe yellow and tropical fruits, fine aromatic notes of fresh and candied lemon, plus a subtle spiciness of dried kitchen herbs. Also rich on the palate, where the aromatic profile is repeated with freshness and acidity, salty and long on the finish.
