The orange wine Lapor Belo Orange, vintage 2019 from the winery Vina Krapež has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Malvasia, Pinela, Rebula from the region Vipavska dolina in Slovenia.
Bright, subtly cloudy golden yellow in colour with orange reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe yellow apple underpinned with delicate herbs and spices, some maquis, a hint of caramel and blossom honey. The elegant palate is light on its feet, freshly structured and mineral with notes of chamomile and St. John's wort, and a salty-peppery finish. A slender food wine that is already well matured.
