Bright ruby red with dark reflections. Dark berry fruit and subtle savouriness on the nose. On the palate with a lot of drive and slightly harsh tannins, shows dark fruit, grippy, savoury, delicate balsamic, then somewhat grueling in the finish, currently still a child.
