Tasting Notes

Tasting from 10.02.2017: Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter

"Hand picked grapes". Extremely much new wood. First notes of ripeness. Blueberry compote, cinnamon. Powerful, viscous palate. Grainy, but almost completely absorbed tannin, mild acidity, ripe palate fruit, licorice, dark berries, supple, really oily with a tactile mineral carpet pad. Impressive, but somehow also stereotypical. The finish at the end is somewhat strongly characterized by alcohol.
