The white wine Pinot Gris, vintage 2014 from the winery Waipara Hills Winery has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Marlborough in New Zealand.
Light yellow-green, silver reflections. Delicate ripe pear fruit, a hint of spices, nuances of orange zest, somewhat restrained bouquet. Juicy, creamy texture, fine fruit sweetness, subtle acidity, fine orange fruit and some blossom honey on the finish.
