Tasting from 12.02.2016

Dark, inky ruby, almost black, opaque core and purple reflections. On the nose, very complex with savoury aromas, dark fruit, dried fruit, subtle tangerine zest and a touch of nougat. On the palate, powerful and very complex, fruity with pleasant sweetness, cherry confit and perfect texture. The long, lingering finish has candied orange with savoury, peppery notes. A great combination of substance, concentration, precision and great promise for the future - everything a really great Vintage Port needs.
