The red wine Oberwesel Spätburgunder Barrique trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Wein- und Sektgut Goswin Lambrich has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
The nose is still characterised by smoky and woody-spicy notes, a good portion of new wood, followed by forest fruits, cherry and some plum with juniper berries. On the palate, the wood is already better processed in a deep structure with a mineral underpinning.
