The red wine »Cuvée Rot vom alten Berg« Rück Johannisberg, vintage 2021 from the winery Weinbau Weinfurtner has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Domina, Dunkelfelder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Fragrant nose, juniper, dark cherries, wild berries, floral notes, lilac, roses, nougat chocolate, subtle savouriness, cinnamon, cloves. Lots of freshness on the palate, juicy fruit, velvety tannins and lively acidity give tension without being demanding, medium-bodied, animating to drink.
