A mountainous burgundy style, malty aromas in the aroma. The palate is smoothly grounded, then unfolds an immense amount of tannin, very dense, dry and still astringent, a very difficult wine to judge. Will the tannins soften at some point?
More about the tastingGarnet red with brick red brightening at the rim. Already with notes of maturity on the nose, port, plum, violet pastille, smoked meat, wet leaves, forest floor. Powerful construction on the palate with lively acidity, somewhat pithy extracted. Emphasises dry, mineral primed.
