The white wine »Tausend Sterne« Riesling trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Alexander Laible has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose it is closed, and places its cards on the table only hesitantly, and then with yeasty notes, and floral aromas. It has a rich palate, with lots of texture, ripe fruit, good acidity, a relatively vivid sweetness, and well-integrated alcohol. It is powerful stuff, but it also has substance and zing.
