The white wine »SE« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Bercher has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
There are aromas of delicate smoke and some vanilla, almond paste, ripe apple, and pear, it is a lovely bouquet. It has a melting vanilla flavour on the palate, along with ripe bright fruit, and a well-balanced acidity, and it is relaxed but with a nice structure and drive. It has good length, and is a great wine with food.
