The non-alcoholic white wine NV »Breakaway« Gewürztraminer from the winery Weingut Bergdolt-Reif und Nett has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Light golden yellow in colour. A very intense bouquet, bread crust, chestnut honey, cassata. Also rose water. On the palate, the wine is textured and comparatively full-bodied, lovely acidity, the wine finishes dry, but less pithy than the rather restrained residual sugar would suggest.
